With five Saturday sides playing in the Surrey Championship, a mid-week T20 team, a Sunday XI and junior cricket for both boys and girls – there’s a chance for everyone to take part.

Our overseas player Caleb Bate adds a wealth of knowledge and experience to the club, which he shares during the regular net and training sessions.

Our senior sides have enjoyed promotions in recent seasons and we’ve managed this through a positive recruitment process and – more importantly – from developing younger players through the junior ranks.

As a club we strive to play competitive and winning cricket at all levels.

However, we are proud to have created an atmosphere where enjoyment and a love of the game is just as important as trophies and personal landmarks.

For our youngest members (aged 5-8) we have ECB All Stars.

And for those graduating All Stars or new to cricket (aged 8-11) we have ECB Dynamos, plus an extensive junior cricket programme for children aged 7 to 17.

ECB-qualified coaches and parents help make the junior set up both enjoyable and successful and we’ve had loads of players moving up to Surrey and Middlesex county programmes.

We welcome both girls and boys and also have a number of girls only options available.

We’re working very hard to develop girl’s/women’s cricket at The Wick – so watch this space for more updates.
