Womens Cricket
Women’s Cricket returned to the Wick in 2023 and we are delighted to offer both soft and hardball cricket to players of all levels of experience.
For 2026, we have entered a softball team into the Surrey Cricket Championship, which is hugely exciting for the development of this team, the majority of whom were beginners a couple of years ago!
There is also the opportunity for women to play in the men’s sides, with a full programme of cricket throughout the summer. Many of the Wick senior sides are mixed and regularly see women playing.
Training is on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, 6-730pm at Hampton Wick Royal Cricket Club. New players of all experience are always welcome!

“Our Women’s softball team is a fantastic place to learn, develop, and enjoy cricket in a fun, supportive environment. Whether you’ve never picked up a bat before or you’re looking to get back into the game, everyone is welcome. As the coach, it has been incredibly rewarding to watch this group grow. Despite many of our players only taking up cricket in the last couple of years, and this being just our first season of league cricket, their determination, enthusiasm, and passion to improve never fails to impress me. They continue to support one another on and off the pitch, creating a team spirit that makes Hampton Wick Royal Cricket Club such a special place to play.”
