Established 1863
Welcome to Hampton Wick Royal Cricket Club, or ‘The Wick’. We are a friendly, successful and inclusive cricket club who have been based on the same spot in the magnificent settings of Bushy Park for 163 years.
We have five senior sides competing in the Surrey Cricket Championship, with an occasional 6th XI and a full programme of midweek and Sunday friendly cricket throughout the season.
We run a full programme of Junior cricket, offering All Stars and Dynamos, boys cricket from U9 – U17 and girls cricket from U9 to U14.
We are committed to making cricket truly inclusive. We have previously won the Surrey Cricket Foundation award for Connecting Communities. We’ve also received national media coverage for our partnership with Heathfield School.
We are also proud of our support for Women’s and Girls cricket with high quality coaching and several pathways for cricketers of all standards, at all ages, to enjoy the sport.
We are also the home for several non cricketing groups, hosting several other sports clubs and community groups throughout the year.
Senior Cricket
Hampton Wick Royal Cricket Club currently boasts five Saturday League teams playing competitive cricket in the Surrey Cricket Championship, a full programme of Sunday fixtures and a T20 side.
Junior Cricket
Hampton Wick Royal CC has a thriving juniors setup that caters for children aged 5 and upwards. We are part of both the ECB All Stars and Dynamos programmes. We are also girls-only teams, meaning ‘The Wick’ is THE place to learn and love cricket.
Women's Cricket
We are proud to host a Women’s cricket side since 2023, with the side now competing in a local softball league. Most of the team were beginners just a few years ago, so open to all abilties.
